Sub-Project: Watering Bottles and reusing other materials

Description: This little activity gives an alternative use for plastic bottles teaching children re-use of wasted materials. Make holes in the caps of your used bottles. Have the children fill the bottles up with water to the top and turn the bottles upside down. Have the children squeeze the water out.

Collaborative Project: Work with another classroom or school to see how many materials you can turn into tools for your Garden-in-the-Box. What other objects can you reuse into watering, digging, mixing devises?
